At Trinidad Coffee Company, we see ourselves as stewards, entrusted with the responsibility of guiding our prized coffee beans on the final leg of their long journey from faraway soils.
It is said that no less than a dozen pairs of hands touch each and every coffee bean starting from when the humble seed is planted. They belong to the farmers, growers, and producers, without whose tireless work there would be no Trinidad Coffee Company.

Perfecting the Profile
Achieving perfection in the cup means striking a delicate balance between a roast that is technically sound and one that is truly inspired.
Our rigid quality control assessments include charting soluble concentration (“strength”) versus soluble yield (“extraction”) to provide a data-based analytical backdrop against which we evaluate subjective characteristics like aroma, flavor, and finish.
While instruments like spectrometers and moisture analyzers are vital tools of our trade, ultimately, the difference between a good cup of coffee and an unforgettable one is a roaster’s experience, skill, and most importantly, passion.
The Artistry of Coffee Roasting
To us, artisan coffee roasting is art and science working together in perfect harmony, transforming premium green beans into masterfully roasted coffees with exquisite flavors and vibrant characteristics.
During each batch we roast, a myriad of chemical and physical changes occur at various rates of development, including endothermic processes and caramelization of sugars, to name a few.
Under the watchful eye of our master roaster, these reactions are carefully monitored and tamed to draw out the signature attributes that make our coffee selections so uniquely satisfying.
